Glenlea will celebrate 44 years of breeding Charolais in 2016.The stud was graded up from Angus, Shorthorn and Devon base cows with introductions of Full French females from bloodlines in New Zealand in the 1970s. The type developed by the Binny Family is a high performance, well muscled Charolais on a medium frame with early gestation, and the critical trait of crossbred progeny of our bulls being able to finish on grass at domestic weights.
Better Value Charolais Group is a group of studs committed to performance recording and marketing larger lines of Charolais Seedstock. Coordinated by founding stud of the group GLENLEA CHAROLAIS and stud principle, Roderick Binny.
